Paul T. D’Ostroph III ChFC®

Paul T. D’Ostroph III, ChFC® has been a Financial Advisor since 2004, when he joined Equitable Advisors. He started in the Financial Industry in 1995 and graduated from the University of New York at Buffalo. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with his concentration in Financial Analysis. Paul has completed The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ courses with The American College and has obtained his ChFC® professional designation with The American College as well. Paul is currently studying to obtain his Chartered Life Underwriter® designation.

Paul has been helping clients with Financial Strategies, Wealth Management, Life Insurance, Long Term Care, and Estate Planning Strategies. He enjoys meeting with prospects and clients in addressing their financial needs, building customized retirement plans, and developing wealth transfer strategies. Paul is licensed in many states across the country to better serve his clients.

Paul is the founding member of Harbortown Financial Group. He has led the team to become an Elite Advisors Group (EAG) which is an internal recognition program of Equitable Advisors, LLC. Harbortown Financial has grown to a Platinum Firm at Equitable Advisors LLC and is recognized as a Paramount Planning Group.

In 2016, Paul was inducted into the Equitable Advisors HALL OF FAME, which is awarded to financial professionals who have attained National Leader Corps production levels for 10 years or more. Paul has been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and has made numerous appearances in the Buffalo News as one of the leading Financial Consultants in Western New York. In 2021, 2022, and 2023 Paul has been awarded the Bronze Eagle Recognition Award at Equitable Advisors. He has also received numerous Centurion awards and has been a Gold Mentor to new financial advisors.

Paul is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, archery, and outdoor sports. He has been a member of the Evans Rod and Gun Club, Buffalo Revolver and Rifle Club, Southtowns Walleye Association, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and a Lifetime NRA member. He also enjoys playing racquetball, basketball, baseball, and swimming.

Paul believes in giving back to his community and paying it forward. He is a corporate sponsor for Kingdom Bound Ministries. Charitable giving to Neglia Ballet of WNY, The ALS Association, and Revive Wesleyan Church in Hamburg. He has fundraised and worked with the Muscular Dystrophy Association; Make a Wish Foundation, 716 Ministries, Heritage Centers, Ride for Roswell, and the JP Morgan Corp Challenge. Paul has also sponsored the Antique Automobile Club of America and the Erie County Sheriff’s PBA.

Paul and his wife Kathy have grown up in the West Seneca area, and currently reside in Orchard Park, NY. They have two children and have been happily married since 2008.
